1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect information you provide directly, including your name, work email address, organisation, role or title, organisation size, diagnostic responses, OI assessment results, briefing requests, questions and other information you choose to submit.
Our hosting and service providers may also process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, request logs and similar operational data.
2. Why we use personal information
We use personal information for purposes that include:
- delivering the OI Stress Test, calculating and emailing assessment results;
- maintaining the OI diagnostic register and related executive follow-up;
- responding to executive briefing, advisory or other enquiries;
- operating the OI Academy, including sending requested learning releases and the Academy welcome email;
- managing subscriptions, preferences and one-click unsubscribe requests;
- maintaining, securing and improving the website and related services;
- meeting legal, regulatory, accounting or security obligations where applicable.
3. Basis for processing
Depending on the context, we may process personal information because you have asked us to provide a service or information, because you have consented to receive communications, because processing is reasonably necessary for our legitimate business purposes, or because we need to meet a legal obligation. We aim to collect and use personal information only for purposes that are clear and reasonably expected in the circumstances.
4. OI Academy emails and direct marketing
When you join the OI Academy, you are asking to receive Academy learning releases and related executive content. Each Academy email is intended to include a one-click unsubscribe option. If you unsubscribe, your Academy subscriber status is changed to Unsubscribed and we will stop sending Academy marketing emails to that address unless you subscribe again.
You may still receive service messages that are necessary to deliver something you specifically requested, such as an assessment result or a response to an enquiry.
5. Assessment and diagnostic information
The OI Stress Test is a directional executive diagnostic, not a validated psychometric instrument. We use the answers you submit to calculate your OI score, profile and dimension results, to provide the result to you and to manage the OI diagnostic register. We do not present the Stress Test as an automated system for making legal, employment, credit or similarly consequential decisions about individuals.
6. Service providers and international processing
We use third-party technology and infrastructure providers to host the website, process forms, send email, store operational records and support related services. Those providers may process information outside the Cayman Islands. Where personal data is transferred or processed internationally, we seek to use appropriate service providers and safeguards consistent with applicable data-protection requirements.
7. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for legitimate operational needs, or to meet legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution requirements. Marketing subscription records may be retained after an unsubscribe so that we can respect the opt-out.
8. Security
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or misuse. No internet or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Your data-protection rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights in relation to your personal data, including rights to be informed, request access, ask for inaccurate data to be corrected, object to or restrict certain processing, stop direct marketing, and complain to the Cayman Islands Ombudsman.

10. Cookies and analytics
At present, OI does not intentionally deploy advertising cookies or third-party behavioural analytics on this website. Essential technical storage or logs may still be used by hosting, browser or security infrastructure to deliver the site. If we introduce analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking, we will update this notice and introduce consent controls where required.
11. Links to other services
The site may link to third-party services, including scheduling or other platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them before providing personal information.
12. Children
OI is designed for professional and organisational audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through the OI Academy, Stress Test or executive briefing forms.

We may update this policy as the OI platform, Academy, analytics, service providers or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page with the date of the latest update.
